GOD MOVES MIGHTILY by Mrs. Ingrid Caldoza

Ever since I surrendered my life to God, my family and I have lots of blessings, provisions and grace received from Him.

I usually attend church at this second service but last Sunday, my son and I attended the first service because we were scheduled to leave for Lorma Hospital, San Fernando City, La Union just after that service at 10 am for my coronary angiogram but with so many things undone, we were delayed and finally left Laoag City at around 3pm. As expected, we arrived there at around 7pm which was quite late for us who knew nobody, and complete stranger to the place. We had to maximize our faith and trust to the Lord because the only hotel available that time was expensive for a less than 24 hours stay. But we stand to our faith that, “God shall be able to give us abundantly even more than what we ask for.” So we settled down and rested. There we learned that, if we had arrived there earlier, we should have had experience flood (na hanggang leeg ang lalim). Praise God we were spared.

Early the following day, we checked out and looked for a cheaper place to stay. Then we went to the hospital for arrangement with the interventional cardiologist. They explained that the total amount for such procedure was amounting to Php 70, 000.00 pesos but they established the month of September as month for heart care, they have a big discount which started that same day Monday. The package was Php 54,000.00 pesos including Professional Fee but we only have Php 50,000.00 less accomodations, meals and transportation expenses. So still our cash on hand was noy enough, but the staff suggested that we’re going to try the PCSO who usually gives Php 5000.00 to Php 7,000.00 pesos with my case but when we were there, I shouted and cried praise the Lord! Because they granted me Php 15,000.00 then when finally, my children went to pay the remaining Php 39,000.00 and the cashir said Dr. Molano discounted his Professional Fee with Php 6,000.00 pesos, so my children had paid only Php 33,000.00 pesos.

Jesus, our greatest Healer… and He said, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Before the procedure, they advised me to have fasting for 8 hours before but because there were patients ahead of me, my fasting duration had extended but praise God I did not feel any hunger or discomfort. Instead, I raise my hallelujah and sang praise and worship songs with all the apparatus connected in almost all parts of my body. I asked the nurses to pray with me and testifying and confessing that Jesus is the greatest Healer.

Then, when my time comes, they pushed my bed to the Catheterization Laboratory, the doctor said, “Mommy, I’m going to put anesthesia now, sorry but you will feel a little pain, and I answered it’s okay doc, I believe that it is nothing, compare to what Jesus felt on the cross. After which, the doctor asked his staff to surround me and led a short prayer, acknowledging that they are only instruments and they asked God to bless the procedure, the apparatus and each and everyone of us.

After the procedure, the doctor said, Congratulations Mommy! Your faith made you well, your prayers had been answered, you don’t have holes nor blockage, you only have some cholesterol deposits but I believe God will continue to heal you with your medications. After 3 hours from now you may go home to Ilocos and tell the goodness of the Lord. Hallelujah! Gloryt to God! Thank you Jesus.
