What are some of your morning’s like? Do you go to bed intending to get up and spend time with God, but then when the alarm goes off you hit the snooze button. Then you hit the snooze again, and then you hit the snooze again. And then you’ve laid in bed too long and then you finally get up and you find you have no time for anything. You need to dress up and rush to work. And you’re in a frenzy, and you’re in a rush, and so that makes you grouchy. Sometimes we rush out of the house. You are in a hurry don’t have time today, just rushing to work. You know you should have spent time with God you didn’t do it and the whole day basically just becomes a nightmare. All I can tell you if you don’t spend time with God you are going to have one difficult day after another after another. It’s amazing what happens when you give God that first little bit of time. And I believe you’ll find your time with God so fruitful that you’ll start making ways to get more. I live by this principle; never meet with other people before you meet with God. Every morning you need to go to God for your daily bread, your daily wisdom, daily direction. Too many times we’re trying to do things only in our own strength, our own intellect, our own ability. That’s going to limit us. God can see things that you can’t see. He knows the right people who should be in your life. He knows where the danger is; where the dead ends are. God knows how to catapult you into your destiny. You have an advantage but, are you taking time for your daily bread. If you’ll take time to acknowledge God and say God, I need you today; lead me, guide me, keep me on the right path, not only will your day go better, but God will keep you from making mistakes.
Start every day with thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is so important. What are you thankful for?. Do you thank God daily for even little things. There’s so much to be thankful for. When you wake up in the morning say thank you for grace, for mercy, for understanding, for wisdom, for parents, for His love, for kindness, for peace and for prosperity. Say thank you in advance for what’s already yours. If you desire in the heart for anything good; God will send to you before hand to indicate that it’s yours already- that itch that you have; whatever it is you want to do; that itch to help others, to grow in the Lord. Whatever you aspire to have in your life, you can have it, if you seek Him first every day. So work hard to at it. There are people who are very fruitful and effective, but yet, some people just waste their time away. Day after day, it is sad, wasting your time on things that’s not beneficial where God is concerned. That’s a choice that we must make. But there’s one thing about time, when once it goes by, you never get it back. It is so tragic to waste your life and not live in the purposes of God, with an unfulfilled destiny that God intended. I think we must live every day like it is our very last one, to the absolute fullest. We must every day count for Jesus. So live your day to its maximum potential for God and He will meet your needs as you serve Him.
